Getting Text Banking

Start by signing up and registering your device via Mobile Web or the Metro Bank Mobile App. Once registered, log in to the Mobile Banking Center and activate Text Banking.

Next, reply to a text message from Metro Bank with your activation code and you’re enrolled!

You’ll also receive a message stating that alerts are now available to you. Reply with “ALERTS” to begin managing alert settings. Use account alerts to help you stay in control of your finances.


Metro Bank does not charge for Mobile Banking. However, a supported mobile device is needed to use Metro Bank Mobile. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data or text message service charges that may apply.
