Our free Text Banking service allows you to request and receive account information via text message. Use any text enabled phone to bank quickly and securely.

 How to Enroll

  • Start by signing up and registering your device via Mobile Web or the Metro Mobile App. Once registered, log in to your Mobile Banking Center and activate Text Banking.
  • Reply to a text message from Metro Bank with your activation code and you’re enrolled.
  • You’ll also receive a message stating that alerts are now available to you. Reply with “ALERTS” to begin managing alert settings. Use account alerts to help you stay in control of your finances.

Once enrolled, simply text a command to the short code (46379) and your account will text you back.
