Cash For College Scholarship

The Cash for College Scholarship recognizes and rewards three graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to their local communities through volunteer service. Graduating seniors  who reside within the bank’s service area of Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties are eligible. The Cash for College Scholarship is part of Metro Bank’s overall commitment to bettering our community through the Metro Cares program. Reading Rocks! Summer Reading Program

Metro Bank’s Reading Rocks! Summer Reading Challenge encourages kids to keep their reading skills sharp during the summer and also helps them earn while they learn! Metro Bank will pay $10 to children who read 10 books and complete a Reading Rocks! brochure. Please see a Reading Rocks! brochure for complete eligibility details. Through our Getting Smart About Credit lesson, teens will learn the difference between simple and compound interest, what a FICO score is and how to use credit responsibly.
